This photographic project is a visual tribute to nature, focused on capturing the pure and vibrant essence of plants. Through a series of images, I aim to convey the freshness, vitality, and authenticity of nature in its most genuine form. Each plant stands as a testament to the beauty and simplicity of the natural world, inviting viewers to connect with the delicate balance present in the plant kingdom.
Photography here is more than just a form of expression. One of the primary goals of this project is to spotlight and support Uliako Lore Baratzak park in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, which is threatened by urban development plans. These images underscore the critical importance of preserving this green space, not only for its aesthetic and ecological value but also for its positive impact on urban life. Parks and green areas serve as the lungs of our cities, providing essential respite amid the hustle and bustle. They are places for gathering, reflection, and connection with nature, vital for both physical and mental well-being.
This reportage aims to raise awareness about the necessity of protecting these spaces, not merely as havens for flora and fauna but as symbols of resistance against environmental destruction. By bringing the plants and flowers of this park to life through the lens, I hope to garner support for its preservation and reaffirm the significance of green spaces in the heart of our cities.
